I'm interested in skid plates too. I'm somewhat concerned about this duct work to send air for cooling since the low hanging bumper is blocking air. I haven't seen a solution to support this duct work fixing to the skid plate.
I also want skid plates that does not require removing support braces.

Buy a TRD skid and swap it on. Should bolt right up.

Will the TRD Skid Plate fit on a 2011 Trail?

That's interesting. Never seen that before. Looks like it interfaces with the cutout present on the 5th gen OEM skid...but later models don't have the duct, just the cutout on the skid.

This duct work only comes with Limited trim. (Pic taken from 2019 Limited)

Other trims do not have this duct work.

Remove the duct and skid and the TRD skid bolts right up. TRD hardware is used for the front and the stock hardware for the rear 2. Use a good anti-seize on all between oil changes. On an 11 Trail with KDSS there might be a clearance issue.

I beg to differ, I just swapped my 2011 sr5 for a 2011 trail bumper and this duct work was on the 2011 sr5.

I have a 2011 SR5 Premium and just put on the RCI Skid and Filler plate. Not sure about your duct work there. Mine doesn't have that. Install was a bit tedious by myself, but once I figured out a good way to support the weight while lining up the bolts, it was pretty smooth.

is the TRD plate beefy? Being Factory they are usually light weight. My 2013 Limited is thin and already rusting apart due to IL winter salt. I seen the RCI was aluminum but $400. Just want a good solution w/o the cost. Thanks for info (replies)....

Don't discount the factory skids toughness. Even though light gauge steel, they are pretty stout. The rust is definitely what kills them. This gas tank skid was off Chris Bielat's rig after years of boulder hopping on 35" & 37" tires. I think he ended up with RCI skids after awhile. Pretty Cool build - gas tank skid.jpg
