I am looking for help finding someone that has lifted their new Trail . I am finding offload shops here in San Diego that say you can not lift it because the KDSS . I have also seen kits online for it . Anyone know anything about this ? I want 3" and 285/70/17 tires . Please let me know thanks all .

Revtec 3" lift with XD Series wheels
I have been told the same thing but I did researched further mostly in 4Runner forums and pulled the trigger today. I learned plenty from these forums. I put in very inexpensive 3" lift from Revtec and 285/70/17 Duratrac. The tire shop offered to install it and very nice one stop shopping. End result was awesome and I couldn't be happier.

Yup, Ive got a 2016 TEP with KDSS and there is a monumental amount of BS out there stating one can't lift with KDSS. :annoyed:

I'll be lifting mine soon. My feeling is this is from all these local shops who don't understand the system, then the rumor spreads....

Newbie here, got a 2016 TEP, how do you like the ride on TOYTEC ? Did you keep the stock UCA's ?

Been doing some research so your lift is the TOYTEC 5100? Retail was 909 ? Im a mechanic and work on heavy equipment but somewhat terrified to install the lift, did you do it yourself ? And do you make if it voids the warranty ?

Just installed some infabs today looks pretty nice

Do you have to tweak with the KDSS during or after the lift, wanting to go 3" with an Icon setup. Thanks!
