Does anyone have experience with this rail system? I'm loving the low profile look with just adding the support bars, vs adding a whole rack

I considered the Rago bars but didnt like how close the bars are to the roof. It makes tying anything down around them ahrd. Also, carrying anything long, like lumber or kayaks, could hit the sharkfin antenna, since the bars arent tall enough to clear it.

LFD make similar bars but they are higher. Except for their aero bar meant to be in the front. I returned mine because the wind deflector/aero bar contacted the roof. If you dont want metal bars rubbing on your roof, maybe get the LFD regular bars and skip their aero bar.

No matter what you get for crossbars, the weak link is the factory rails. If you take the end caps off and look at the construction, you can see why they are not able to hold much weight. The Rago, LFD and other cross bars can easily hold more weight than the rails can.

Thanks for that info @Deuxdiesel. Never thought about that. This is all new to me, I would like to get a RTT. Guess I'll start down the trail to find a whole new set up.
