Anybody have experience with these Thule crossbars?

I dig the low profile, sporty design. I would go ahead and take the plunge. Then I read a guy in the reviews say that with his 5th Gen 4Runner, there was a whistling sound at certain speeds that was very annoying. I figured the “wind diffusing technology” they describe would specifically eliminate that lol. I suppose 4runners are different than most other body types tho.

I'd be interested in knowing as well. Currently shopping for some solutions to hold our RTT without replacing the factory rails. I don't see anything about weight on this though.

Thules are pricey...but I'm sure the quality is better than most any other aftermarket bars. Too bad about the noise.
I am also in the market for some bars to carry my 16 foot canoe. The factory crossbars are barely adequate.
