Curious if anyone made the jump and if they like the aftermarket better. The factory one is nice. GPS locator. Fuel and mileage. Doors open. etc. Remote start with fob or app but it shuts down with the opening of a door. And monthly/annual fee.

I know the aftermarket has two options for super close or a bit more range but there is no monthly fee or Toyota furiously data logging you haha! Not sure if the vehicle turns off with the opening of a door though. I think thats a key factor here. Edit: Yup, looks like aftermarket also shuts down with the opening of a door. Argh

Curious on your experiences. Any other perks of going aftermarket? Thanks!
