    Sup my dudes!

This is probably a long shot, but I have a 5th gen scoopless black hood and am looking for a hood w/scoop. Looking for a trade or purchase. Get at me

May I ask why you want the scoop? Just curious. I have one on my 4runner and it's sorta useless. I thought about putting moving lights in there like a Cylon or Kit..lol.. Maybe some type of solid light in red? dunno. Just curious though.

i assume because it’s more visually appealing.

Ive been to that thread before but it's like a 20:1 ratio lol.

And to those wondering why I want it.. Answer is simple.. I think it looks awesome. I have raptor lights that serve no purpose, but I like the look

I think they look awesome OP. I’ve been looking as well, but it’s extremely difficult. I wish they offered the hood scooped hood as an option on the SR5 for those who don’t want all the extras that the OR/Pro trim has.

Wow. You seem to want to rage against the scoop...what do you care what someone else puts on their 4Runner? if you don't like it, don't come on the thread.

You have nothing better to do than come on an internet forum and make fun of how someone talks? Really? Get a life man who cares what someone else does to their car or how they speak. You are the one who needs to grow up as you put it

One has to wonder what Toyota design guys were thinking. Did they just feel something was missing and said "hood scoop!" or was it something abandoned? some kind of new and improved intake that didn't quite work? Maybe some odd focus group input or crazy executive that was jealous of Shaker hoods from a 70' Cuda??
Still think Cylon lights might be way to go..lol.

Curious that you would make fun of someone's language..."becon call?".

None of this aggro behavior seems necessary. The guy just likes the look of a hood scoop. Even if it is non-functional.

“Beck and call” by the way.

I had a chance to pick a Mach 1 up a while back..(barn find) and hesitated...I kick myself plenty. The 2021 Mustang Mach 1 is pretty BA..480hp, basically a improved GT...Not the same as the old muscle cars...but still..

How about a non-functional grill swap, blackened emblems, or pretty wheels? I think the list goes on. The hood scoop is just sharp looking. Mine reminds me of the V8 under the hood. I don’t care if it is non-functional. It is part of the OEM body design.

Guys, I apologize for my earlier rants. I DID delete my posts because of that. Yes, I did know that the quotes would remain but swept posts away anyway. There is a reason why the OP really touched a nerve with me that I will not go into. Not his fault though, so I apologize to metallungs as well. Sincerely!
