I’ve installed on mine and love it. It adds a little something something to front. It is also nice to represent Toyotas heritage.

They're well made and I think they're a nice homage to the classic version

Guys: Maybe I'm a bit naive, but how do you attach this to the grill ? No way to reach behind with a wrench. And no access top or bottom. HELP!!
    LOL

Lift the hood and pop the shroud off above the radiator. Just gotta pull the little plastic tabs off. It's easy and quick.

Just make sure you pull the middle section of each tab up first. If you just shove a flat head screwdriver under the entire tab it will break.

Its a solid tool to have, but I just used the blade of a box cutter. ‍♂️ Popped them all right up.

You should not need any tools to remove the shroud above the radiator. You push the center section of the fastener in to loosen it, which is the opposite action to most types of plastic fasteners. Once the fastener is loose it can be removed by hand, don't drop any of the back ones down over the engine/skid plates.

Wrong. As stated above, you don't pull up the middle section of each tab, you push it down, then pull out the plastic pin. They come right out after you push in the middle of each pin.

Yep. You and @DRH are correct. Push down the center. After you pull out the whole clip push the center tab up using a flat surface like a tabletop. After re-installing them push that elevated center tab half way down to be level with the rest of the clip, so it expands and grips the sheet metal.
Very ingenious device. You can re-use them many times.

I managed to get the badge on my grill without removing the shroud or anything else. It just takes a little ingenuity and nimble fingers.

Angle grinder with a cut-off wheel.

Best tool ever if you don't already have one.

The fasteners are made out of very soft metal so you could easily just use a hack saw.

Yep, and get the cheap tool and a couple bags of replacement plastic rivets and save yourself a TON of time.

Especially if you have Raptor lights and they decide to begin going bad one at a time a year after installation............:(

Well, I just finished installing the badge. Couldn't have been easier. I guessed the tiny threads, nuts, and washers are not stainless, so I applied a thin coat of black wheel bearing grease after snugging the nuts. Those push-pins on the radiator shroud really are a clever item. Thanks again guys.
