Small blade screwdriver is just to help pop the little rubber buttons into the open holes to prevent any water damage and debris buildup in the tubes

I was going to give the guy a call in the morning,
do they have a website I can order from, I can't seem to find anything on Google?
    Thanks

If you haven't seen this before, this guy extended his PRO rack to full length. Either options look better than stock, IMO. The stock rack just looks off.

Do you know if that required drilling a new set of holes up front?

I don’t know much about how he built it or how it’s mounted unfortunately. I could only find pics and couldn’t find the build thread.

Do you need to unscrew the entire rack from the 4Runner body or can you do with it still attached?

I just started to notice all this wind noise with the STOCK TRD Pro rack, anyone that has this mod notice if there is any less wind noise in high speeds?
Just contacted Tom, super cool guy and quick to response. The kit is $110 by the way

Now that I finally got my pro I am looking to do this delete kit. Do you have to remove the roof rack for this kit to be installed?

Email sent. Let's hope, it not it's not the end of the world. The look is fine really. I'll just need to line up all the crossbars (member bars) on the upper rail. This way I can mount a rac a rod and/or a Rhina rod rack.

Just received a call back from Tom. A very nice guy by the way. Unfortunately, though, he is not taking any orders at this time due to his pending retirement. Best of luck to Tom and thanks for still returning my call.

For anyone that had bought this kit and installed it - do you have any detailed pictures showing all of the small parts in the kit laid out? I may attempt to fab up a kit for myself since the gentleman that was selling these kits has retired. Thanks in advance.

I did not and never got around to trying to source the individual parts (busy with other projects). Sherpa Equipment "The Needle" was delivered yesterday, so the TRD rack is coming off and posted for sale in the next few days.
