Happy to be a new 2021 4Runner Venture owner. Ordered it back in May and bought it last weekend. I traded an S2000 in on this 4Runner, an indicator as to how life is changing for me, moving from the sports car world to something a bit more family oriented.

Goodbye S2000, you were a ton of fun:

Finally took the 4Runner out on a trail today, the old Toll Road (https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/nevada/old-geiger-grade-toll-road) that heads up to Virginia City Highlands south of Reno. Portions are fairly rocky, narrow, and it's a bit of a grade. I tried out all of the 4WD features the Venture has to offer and all I can say was it was everything I hoped it could do. Did most of it in 4L, tried crawl control (what a racket it makes going down hill but it works as advertised), terrain-select, ATrac... never had a problem even with the stock tires that come on the Venture.

I'm hooked. The 4Runner lives up to the hype. This is going to be fun.

Welcome from Wisconsin! There's nothing wrong with a 180 degree purchase, it lets you know you're alive! Enjoy.

Welcome, and congratulations! I made a similar move in 1988. Traded a 1984 Supra on a new 4Runner. Never regretted it. Loved the Supra, too.

Looks Great! Funny thing, I went from a 2017 Honda CR-V EXL to my 2020 Venture Edition. Best decision ever. Honda makes great vehicles, but in the end I regretted sacrificing happiness for the sake of practicality(price/gas mileage/cost of ownership). I said screw it and bought the vehicle I always wanted. I couldn't be happier.

Excellent! I got hooked too! The S2000 is sweet as it can be. But the 4runner can give another version of excitement! It’s good to mix it up!

Welcome! I was in the same boat. Traded in my Type R for the 4Runner and have 0 regrets.

The venture is amazing but I can’t trade in a v8 and pay that much for a vehicle that doesn’t really do anything my ‘04 can’t so. Nice rig!!

I traded in a 2019 WRX for my 2020 Limited. So glad I did. Even if I could have had both at the same time (well, I guess I could have...) I kinda hated that damn WRX. But by that point I'd finally figured out that I was never going to reach automotive satisfaction with only one rig. So next up is a sports car to go with my 4R. If I could find a minty but affordable S2000, it could be the one! What a sweet car!

Looking forward to more updates on this earth shaking transition from the OP @Deadmeat99 !
