I own a 2017 4R, she's only got about 19k miles on her, I do a lot of short drives due to working from home the last 12 years and covid.

Just sold my house and will be relocating 2500 miles away, so I have a road trip coming up in about 30 days.

I was wondering if there's anything remarkable I could do during the one off trip I'm taking that might benefit my rig during the drive?

    Thanks!

Do the usual pre-trip inspection and service, fill 'er up and enjoy the trip.

If you’re getting close to your normal engine oil change interval consider changing it before the trip. Otherwise, what @Ironguy said, and top tier gas.

I use Lucas Ethanol Fuel Conditioner in all my vehicles and gas powered equipment. Ethanol is terrible.

It really is. It's so hard to avoid at this point. I sometimes go miles and miles out of my way to find non-E10. The notion that anyone would discuss E15 is insanity. Forget ethanol. It's batteries or hybrids going forward, and for those of us who enjoy regularly aspirated gasoline engines, let's have the real stuff.
