Anyone here ever use one of these extremely cheap conversion kits? I have a bad XREAS system and bad adjustable rear air ride... Thought this might be an OK alternative.

I would not want to use no name shocks/springs with a lousy 1 yr warranty, if you have bad xreas just replace them with some good quality shocks based on how you use the 4runner. If off roading, bilstein or other off road type shocks, if its mainly a daily driver or light duty off road then KYB are probably the best option, they come with a lifetime warranty & have a very good close to stock ride feel. The fronts come with the springs installed like the ones you linked to & the rear are standard shocks. They are not much more than the kit linked, fronts are $100ea & rear are about $50ea at rock auto & sometimes KYB offers a nice rebate.

You can get new rear springs from moog if needed but the rear springs are usually ok if the rear isnt sagging. Pretty sure you can just eliminate the rear air bags if they are bad but will let others that have air ride conform that.

I'm sure the linked parts will work, just suggesting looking in to a better name brand with better warranty & likely a much better ride.

I just upgraded my 4runner. It had x-reas and my installer simply ripped it out. Easy.

I bought fj cruiser springs for 50 bucks and bought Bilstein 5100's. So not including labor, I spent about 550 bucks.

Much better value than going with no name stuff.

I wouldn't trust that kit. The adaptor kit from metal tech to just replace the air bags with springs costs almost $200 for just the spring seats (upper and lower including a version of bump stops). It's possible to replace only the RAS bags if you use stock-height springs if you can love with the X-REAS shocks still being on the rig.
