Lifted with bigger wheels/tires - Can I still drive with oem trac/panhard bar?

    Hello all. Lift is around 3.5 front and 2.5 rear on 285/75/16. The rear passenger wheel sticks out 1/2 inch more than the driver side. From what I've read this is due to the rear axle not being aligned.

    My question is, can I still drive the truck without upgrading to an adjustable trac/panhard bar? Ive driven around 500 miles already and truck seems fine but I know that this may eventually lead to pre-mature wear elsewhere. How long can I drive without replacing the trac bar? Is this unsafe if I dont replace it right away? I'm on a tight budget at the moment.

    The bigger tires and wheels aren't the issue here.

    You've got a lot of lift for an IFS vehicle; I bet it rides harshly considering your coilovers have a ton of preload.

    With that being said, whenever your suspension flexes in the rear, you will have axle pull. You won't notice it as much if you have your rear sway bar in place, but it's still there.

    Eimkeith sells a panhard correction kit which allows you to use your stock panhard bar, but relocates the mounting points found on the axle (driver side) and frame (passenger side).
