Hello! T4R TRD Pro on the way!

Hey all,

Just joined because yesterday my wife and I just put a deposit on a 2016 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro in quicksand. We don't get to pick it up until this overseas tour is over, but come June, she'll be riding in something far better than her Dodge Nitro. Now I gotta upgrade the '11 Tacoma to match haha

I actually haven't seen the 4Runner in person either in that color but plenty of Tacoma's. Hopefully it doesn't suck haha

 

Nice color choice--I actually like anything but white and silver so its easy to impress me lol. Bet your tour can't end early enough to get your mitts on this machine!

 

Haha you have no idea how bad I can't wait to get back stateside. We are actually going straight to the dealership from the airport once we get back. I got my priorities straight

Dude! Its worth the wait! I picked up mine last Friday...went on a cruise Saturday...had 8 days to endure before getting home to actually drive it! lol.

No big plans, probably just some tint and maybe a rack. Its my wife's ride and she's not real into the whole modding thing so I figured we get her the most factory modded 4Runner and call it a day. I guess its a good thing because thats more money for my Tacoma!

 

Yep ive had it for a week. I love it.
I need a roof rack for the kayaks and I'll eventually swap out the running boards. Not really a fan of the stock ones.

 

Wait... i just noticed you have black running boards/rock rails. Are those from Toyota?? I'm jealous.

 

Looks good man! We were debating between white and quicksand but we couldnt find a white so quicksand it was. Yeah they are Toyota Steps. They seem pretty sturdy and stick out a little past the door so hopefully it'll stop some door dingers.

On a side note, my 2011 Tacoma has been in shipment back to the main land for almost a month and I just drove it for the first time. Holy jesus it feels like such a POS compared to the 4Runner. I still love her though lol
