I'm in over my head on this swap project and have come to the realization that I need to let someone else fulfill my dream. I bought this truck with 9k miles on it in 1995. We brought our son home from the hospital in it. Conceived our third kiddo in it. My awesome wife refused to succumb to the minivan life and we raised our family in it. It was our son's first vehicle. At 317k I decided to get a rebuilt motor rather than put a timing belt on a tired 3VZ. Got a "deal" on a long block from a sheister in Arlington, TX. It blew up in less than 6kmiles.

Grayson (our son) and I decided to do a 5VZ swap. Sounded pretty doable. We got the old (new) motor out and found an awesome 5CZ with 115k miles. Bought the reverse exhaust throw over from ORS and had it ceramic coated. Then when we got to the wiring harness life took some unexpected turns and she became a garage queen.

Grayson has since graduated and got very busy with his business and bought a beautiful '03 4Runner. At any rate the dream of rebuilding the sixth member of our family is not in the cards for me in the foreseeable future. We'd love to see someone bring her back to life and enjoy her as much as we have.

Has four nearly new BDG AT's. Less than 3k miles if memory serves.

I'm listing the motor separately. I also have a '96 2WD that has a blown head gasket and the 4WD AT transmission and transfer case that came with the motor. 115k miles.
