Hello ALL. I realize this is just engine bay decor. What do you guys think ? A little "too much" ?
I was thinking this might compliment the look of the TRD Cold Air Intake (?) But since I regularly clean my engine bay at the coin car wash, the decals will eventually peel off. Not to mention the effects of under hood heat. Talk me out of this. LOL

Think of all the time you'll save not having to lean over your engine bay, scraping and cleaning off a worn pealing sticker.

I'm personally not a fan. Maybe the red decal for the Toyota Logo, but that's it. If you like it though, go for it!

Wait a minute. You regularly hose down your engine bay at the car wash?

At the "coin" car wash. Just every once in a while to keep the dirt off. LOL

Your money, your truck, your choice! Personally, I'd rather spend the money on something else. But I buy stupid crap all the time that other people wouldn't buy.

This is my contribution to this thread. This is a laser cut/etched piece of acrylic (with the logo painted TRD red) bonded to the top of a carbon fiber fuse box cover.

Blacked out badges, window deflectors, smoked 3rd brake light. I have a Borla muffler on order as well as some color matched engine cover stickers. I'll be painting the stock wheels soon as well. Falken tires in the fall as well.
Well here's my opinion. On there about a year and no sign of them peeling off.DSCN5410.jpg

Everybody does know that the plastic engine cover pops up and off a hinge in about 5 seconds, right?...right?

it would be super easy to install or remove these stickers.

Yes taking the cover off makes it easier to install but it's difficult to get them lined up and laying flat. Those circles are a pain but I kinda like the look. To each his/her own I suppose.

I didn't like that cover since it was only covering left bank and was useless to me. LC fits better on my engine:

I really like the painted top, sort of retro 60's looking, something you would see on a 68 Camero.

The painted circles on the other hand, well you've heard the term putting lipstick on a pig.
