That's weird because ebay had no problem refunding me immediately.

No, I got a purchase confirmation with an estimated delivery date and thats it.

Who knows maybe you'll actually get yours haha

 

Not holding my breath on that! I can understand ebay not wanting to issue a refund when product may be in transit so I’ll just wait it out..

 

I know there’s plenty of people who have run smitty’s without issue; but for me personally, I’ve had two smitty winches that failed on me in moments when I really and truly needed them to work. I don’t judge others for running them, but I’ll never buy another in my lifetime.

I took the $99 gamble, ordered it. It immediately "shipped" and after the listing disappeared, I contacted PayPal. They looked into it, and issued a full refund in 3 days. Im still "waiting" for the winch delivery as far as Ebay is concerned.

 

Yeah I haven't figured out how the seller can control the shipment tracking but evidently they can - the tracking says it's in transit but no details are given (and I always get details). It's all bogus no doubt..

 

Well - GOOD NEWS - I received my winch today!! No, not the $99 Smittybilt X20-10K 98510 - I received my $590 Smittybilt X20-10K 98510 that I ordered a few days ago. Even better news - eBay just issued a full refund for the bogus $99 deal. Yeah I know - shoulda know better... So I now have a yet to be installed Body Armor low profile bumper and the fore-mentioned winch - all sitting comfortably in the 4Runner's cargo area. So after I get the wife's icemaker repaired (bad water solenoid), and after I get her Kodiak's top end repair done, and after I re-wire all the house security cameras (very aged cabling), given no other high priority items on the "do list" I shall tackle the bumper/winch project....

 

Ebay issued me a refund as well.

Oh well as they say, if it's too good to be true, it probably is.

 

I’m in the process of getting a refund for a cooler that costs $100, should’ve cost@$350. I knew it was to good to be true..
