Well I just saw a toxic water commercial. It’s at the power plant where I fish.

These are from our honeymoon back at the end of April 2021. We took a nearshore trip out of Pineland/Bokeelia, FL. It was an absolute blast, we caught fish all day!
These were the only “picture worthy” fish.
Kingfish sashimi, is the best sashimi we’ve ever had!!!
The Permit, though kinda small put up a helluva fight! Had a much bigger Permit on, but after about a 15-20 minute intense fight, fish was finally letting up. It was about 10 yards from the boat and boom! A massive probably 10-12’ Bull Shark came outta nowhere and chomped him in one bite right at the surface! Captain said “yeah, that was a man-eater”.
Cobia are always fun to catch, only one was a keeper.
Caught a couple Mangrove Snappers, baby Gag Groupers, Jacks of course, and a few sharks.

If ever I’m the area, I’d highly recommend ChumSlickers guide service, Captain Banks will put you on the fish!

Finally unpacked my garage from the cross country move and my fishing poles did not make it. I think it was a mistake bc everything else made it in really good condition. Oh well, time for new ones. My dad gave me a used one as a hold over. Need to go test the pond near me for lg and sm mouth bass. Anyone have any good recipes?

Catch a bunch of bluegill (worms), scale, roll in flour, fry in olive oil. Same for bass. Good luck!!

Not as good as “Catfish nuggets”. I’m catching like a hundred pounds of fish everytime I drop anchor. These are all eaters and I just let them go. I cant take it. I see an electric fillet knife in my future.

Crappy picture, but a beautiful PA brookie. Caught today on an Elk Hair Caddis, size 18 or so. It's back isn't broken, it's just the way the pic turned out. I'm back in PA for a few
weeks helping out my parents, and will be fishing a bunch before I begin the long drive back to Colorado. Tomorrow I'm going to the Letort if all works out.

Went to Lake Chautauqua, NY with family. Spent most of the two days fishing with my nephews as they have really gotten into the fun. Had a blast teaching them my minimal knowledge as I haven’t fished fresh water in over 20 years. The second day, we took the boat out and had some luck with Perch and Walleye. This is my 11 yo nephew (not my kid so not my face to put on the interwebz) who caught this lovely one. All in all, I can’t believe how much fun I am having getting back into fishing. Hope everyone had a great 4th of July!

Another crappy picture, but this time it's a PA brownie. Fifteen inches or so, and really pretty colors - much better than the picture. Caught on another Elk Hair, but this one had rubber legs.
Back to the stream, he went.

How many trout do you see? The Yellow Breeches near Williams Grove, PA. Or was it near Allenberry? Or Ashcombe Farms? Hmmm, I don't remember, but I know how to get there!

I own property in Lackawanna. I think I was frozen in a snow storm there once when I was a baby.

    Nice Mahi mahi.

71.1 pounder won the tournament for largest mahi. Took a drifted squid down in the Exuma Sound. Ran straight out 50 yards and did 1 full leap out of water. Took two of us to haul him in the boat.

Won $500 prize at tournament dinner.
Best game fish along with YFT.

8C03BF42-2D46-4960-BD57-52B30749E345.jpg Check out this rooster tail!! This boat hasn’t needed a repower in 25 years!!The 4R did SO good towing. Didn’t have to go over 55mph. So just take the Overdrive off when in traffic or going up hill, then shifting into 4th gear and idle down for higher speeds.
