6 fog lights. Does it even improve the overall output?

    Saw this on someone’s build. Just wondering how much the marginal benefit is of the extra fogs.

    I would suspect that they are all just LED lights with amber covers. Not necessarily fog lights. I had amber covers for all of the LED lights I had on my 2013 Jagged X RZR, but only two were flood lights. It help a lot to cut down on glare at night with dust.
    With fog, less is more. Which is why I wonder about the effectiveness of an LED fog light in white.

    That’s got off-road use, probably not on road. Notice how much glare is in the pictures.

    I will say that my diode dynamic fog lights are an amazing improvement over the stock ones. So much better when driving at night. So a good set of properly aimed fog lights is an absolute improvement for night time driving.

    I experience Fog almost on a daily basis living up here in the mountains (sometimes the fog is a cloud), and the white LED lights cause a lot of glare.

    I had JDM Yellow LED bulbs in my RAV4, but found them actually too bright and would get flashed a lot.

    Lights setup properly will always increase visibility. Lights setup improperly (like a light bar above the windshield that isn’t a very narrow spot beam) can actually hinder your ability to see.
