I am in need of new tires. I would like 275/70R17 in either the KO2 or Nitto or similar. I have been looking at Cooper Adventurer A/T as a alternative.
My set-up is Moog coils for a 2008 TTU FJ front and rear. On the rear I have Daystar 1.5" spacers. The rear sits at 38" +/- 0.25" from left to right. The front sits at 35.75" to 36". What if any issues may I run into with that size of tire? I am also looking at 265/70R17 but would rather the 275/70R17 if I do not need to do much more if any trimming for rubbing.

This is what it looks like for reference.

image.jpg image.jpg My reply may be irrelevant in your situation. But... I had the most horribly corroded wheels you ever saw on a 2006 Limited. New Toyota wheels were outrageous, so I went to Tirerack, got a set of Mamba M-14 wheels and Bridgestone Dueler H/L Alenza, 265-60/18. I've had them on for 6 weeks. I love 'em. They show some tread on the sidewalls, they almost seem cushioned (even tho I run my tires a pound or 2 over), handling seems excellent, certainly better than the normal Dueler, and a couple trips on US 89 in Vermont, heavy rain, high speed swooping curves, proved that they were perfect. And I get thumbs up and yells from teens. Quasi murdered out. Just what a 72 year old guy needs :)

A caveat. I run a different set of wheels/tires in winter. My vacation home is at the end of a gravel road, on the tip of North Hero Island in Lake Champlain. Blizzaks !
