if you're worried about blinding oncoming traffic dont. the fog lights are aimed low and wide. got the same 3" on mine and I personally feel like they give better illumination. personal preference I guess but in case you're wonder because of the traffic.

i dont think there are blinding traffic. i could be wrong but it just seemed to me they brighten up the road a little bit more without the lift. regardless i love the fog lights and if you cant lower them i'm still happy with lift also.

You can lower them there is an adjustement just like low beams. I had to lower mine when i replaced with the my 2in1 drl led fogs and they were aimed higher than my hi beams

do you have to take anything off or apart? or can you get to it from under the truck? i have tried to find it from under the truck but i could not find anything. i would love a picture if you could manage if not no worries.

Under the truck it is that grey screw clockwise raises it, counterclockwise lowers it. The fogs move slowly so to get any diffrenece will take a lot of turns. The passenger side is more difficult to get to due to the splash guard.

I'm wondering if there's a way to get them to illuminate more to the side without raising the beam up.

My Tacoma fogs really lit the ditches well. The 4runner not so much.

Unfortuantly no, but there is a solution you can get some hood mounted ditch lights and point them wherever you please. Or if you still have stock fogs consider replacing with a led bulb or a complete different kit, with a diffrent housing. I have the Auer 2in1 led drl fog and are 3x better than stock, others run and like morioto

I have the Auer 2in1s as well, and they are fantastic. I put on a tinted lamin-x on them so they aren’t so chromed out and they look and work great.
