Traded in my 2011 mgm Tacoma 4x4 sr5 4.0 with fox 2.0s, camburg UCA, 4th gen 4runner front brakes

Left with a 2017 4Runner Trd Pro in Cement. All stock...for now.

Plan to do some minor things at first, mostly stereo, the current suspension only has 40k on it, I want to put some more miles on it before I start changing things.

So Tacomas have storage everywhere, door pockets, under and behind seats.
Where do you keep items in this thing?

    IG mgm_Taylor for now.

Welcome! I keep a large heavy duty lockable storage bin strapped in behind the rear seats. In it, I keep all my emergency kit, tools, spare clothes etc. The center console is a little chintzy, but I make it work - small flashlight, small first aid kit, charger cables, spare mag and various bits-n-pieces. I have found the door pockets actually hold quite a bit of stuff, too. You could always look into a seat back storage system - I don't have one but they look to hold a lot of stuff. And sweet looking Pro!

    Welcome to the forum.

For storing things - unless you plan to house a fairly large animal there when travelling, the cargo area behind the back seat is enormous. All you need to do is add some bins or containers if you want to separate and keep track of things.

I came from a 2013 access cab Tacoma, which had way less storage than your double cab Taco. I've now got more room than I know what to do with.

Hey all thanks for the welcomes.

as for storage I should have clarified hidden storage :)
I generally kept tools, a spare of recent things I've worked on.
a hatchet, a few knives, few machetes, recovery strap, first aid kits, bug and sun block. (i'm forgetting things)

i think what i'm going to do it build out a backpack with what i use to keep under/behind seats in my truck and keep it in the cargo hold.

Yeah, there's not a lot of hidden storage.

I have my door pockets packed, glove box divider, console organizer and tray, stuff in the passenger side rear storage area (which might be occupied by a subwoofer depending on which stereo you have) and several canvas bags with tools and recovery gear. A cargo area privacy cover is nice if you want to keep things out of sight.

There are Molle panels available for extra storage as well, but that's pretty much the opposite of hidden. :D
