Does anyone know what size these screws are in the wheel well? I am thinking of changing mine out when new for stainless steel if available.

Seeing the all the rust on used vehicles is slightly taking away from my excitement of getting a new one.

If the head is 10mm then usually they are 6mm and 1.00 thread pitch

I have found that if there are several bolts that you're interested in, just remove one of them and take it to your local hardware store and grab the SS version of them. Since you're right there with the bolt/screw/nut/etc... you should be able to get a very close match.

Thanks all, has anyone else ever replaced theirs in the wheel wells with stainless steel? Maybe I could even dab some fluid film on each one when new for a while.

If they have SS at the hardware store it seems like an easy job for someone even like me who is not mechanically inclined
