image.jpg I just picked up a 1992 4Runner for $600. The previous owner blew a head gasket, so now I've made it my project to replace that. Does anyone have any video links or tips to help me along my way? Thank you in advance!

Get some multilayer steel gaskets and make sure you get the heads and block machined completely flat. From what I've read, if you do this right you'll make the 3.0 much more reliable and less likely to blow again. The guys on yotatach even went as far as to call it bulletproof. Have yet to try this myself though. There's a few other things you can go to prevent further breaks, just depends how much work you wanna do.
