TRD front skid plate on a TEP with KDSS?

    Yes it will fit with modification as shown on my '15 trail. The Radiator support brackets were removed and sides of the TRD skid were cut off to make room. I have seen more 'fashionable' cuts that have been done but I dont see much of a difference in protection. Request to have the plastic filler piece (connects lower bumper to beginning of stock skid) trimmed as to not leave a gap between bumper and skid, or at least hold on to that part and trim yourself. There is a lot of talk regarding this subject at toyota-4runner.org. Hope this helps

    Both are options. It seems worth getting a skid plate that allows for easier oil changes if you're going to replace the oem skid anyway.
