I have noticed that any given dealer in my area tend to get "a few" a year and that the colors tend to be the same.

For example 1 dealer gets an MGM, sells it and a few months later gets another. While a different dealer will have the same thing happen with black. I've been watching for quite some time and it's definitely a trend and not random.

Maybe thats all your dealer orders?

Here they get all the colors from what I've seen.

I've observed this with about 6 different dealers. I don't think it's the dealers doing this, it seems like Toyota controls it. Just seems weird.

I've seen all the colors here. Hell their staging lot is right by my work and I drive by and see the whole variety just sitting there most days.

Dealer must know what colors sell. Pros usually are in high demand anyways.

These days my Toy store gets whatever trim or color it can. I have a 4-5 week wait for my ‘21 Super White ORP trade up to show. Yeah, trading in the ‘20 Super White ORP lol.

Here in Colorado, it appears the dealers that dont rip you off with a $5-10 markup above MSRP get the crappy colors. If you are a dealer than screws the customer you are rewarded for it. Its a shame the Japanese dont understand American color preferences. I have lived over there on military duty in several places and most cars are Black, white, dark grey.
Its a cultural thing and another reason why people get tired of paying top dollar but not getting the color choices and options and move on to other comparable off road vehicles.

I know I keep hearing here how you will spend all your time in a JEEP in the service dept but I have multiple friends with Rubicons that are saying they arent having any issues.

And I am getting dam tired of being told by dealer as I'm looking for a new off road vehicle and trying to stay with a 4R but dam they just say how special the 4R is and I should be happy with them F**King me on price and lack of things all other already have.

If you don't want to get screwed on price, buy an ORP and dump a few thousand into it. You'll end up with something more capable than a PRO, and you'll still have some money left for gas. :)

Or, if you want a Wrangler, go get one. :notsure:

I've heard the same mixed things about reliability. If I really wanted a Wrangler, I would get one. Life is too short to not drive the vehicle you want.
