Hi all! Just bought my 4Runner last Friday and very excited to join the community! I was fortunate enough to purchase this rig with very tasteful mods by a person who definitely took the time to install correctly and take care of it with the same passion as I would have if started from scratch.

A bit of my Offroad life. I’ve been overlanding/off-roading with a full-size Ram 1500 4X4 for the past couple years, but found myself getting hung up time after time over steep climbs, as well couldn’t squeeze through the tight spaces with it so it was time to upgrade.

Here’s a few pics of my old setup:

First thing I will be purchasing will be a full-size roof rack. Then transfer over my RTT, recovery and camping gear over to the new rig.

Overtime will get more underbody protection, regear, front locker and much more traveling.

Wow, that thing is nice. I think you jumped ahead about 3 years of mods by buying it that way...the only thing I wonder about is why there's no aftermarket front bumper and winch setup.

    Thanks everyone for the welcomes!

definitely a good head start. Front bumper and winch was going to be the next purchase of the previous owner, but he found himself not doing much more camping and off-roading so he decided to sell. He even upgraded to a heavier spring rate for the front King shocks to accommodate the heavier weight.

good question. I’m sure not light, but it’s very functional. I like it a lot!

I’m in SoCal, Pomona area. How about you?
