So after seeing all the fun my wife was having with her 4runner I decided to buy one myself. Shopped around and found a couple of vehicles I was interested in. Most were stock and one already had alot of modifications done to it. Finally decided to buy a cheaper stock vehicle to take to Offroad Alliance in Conroe and have them set it up for me. While talking to Thomas at Offroad Alliance about what I wanted I brought up the 2019 that already had all the work done and showed him some pictures. Instead of selling me the parts for the cheaper vehicle he suggested that I buy the one with the work already done and even gave me his cell number so that I could take some pictures of the work performed so that he could look it over. If anyone is in the Houston area I highly recommend Offroad Alliance. So the truck already had adjustable remote resevoir King shocks, remote resevoir Radflo secondary shocks, Total Choas upper and lower control arms,Total Choas rear links, spindel gussets,Method con6 rims and new Goodyear duratracs, Rago molle panels.Front bumper is Demello offroad and light bar is from extreme led as are the fog lights . This is how it looked the day I got it.20210211_102027.jpg After driving it for a couple of weeks I decided to have the Kings rebuilt and have some Shrockworks sliders installed. While Offroad Alliance had my 4runner my wife surprised me and purchased a Gobi rack and another Extreme led light bar for my anniversary present. 20210320_160135.jpg 20210320_164057.jpg Still trying to decide on skidplates ,ham radio, and a few other things. So far loving the 4runner.

It was fine Offroad Alliance took care of it. Apparently the dual shocks added some extra work and time to the job.

Are you on a long travel setup up front or is the secondary shock setup for better overall performance? The rig looks sweet!

Not long travel just secondary shocks in front. Previous owner already had it set up this way.

Can't complain. Waiting for my wife's parts to come in to do a comparison between the 2 different setups.

She is getting kinda competitive with the 4runners so I'm going to try to set them up for different purposes.

Changed to Black Rhino stadium wheels and General Grabber 33/12.5/17 x3 tires today. Kenwood 710 ga ham radio came in, IMG_3652.jpg IMG_3650.jpg waiting for the ICS fabrication mount to arrive for the install

Combination of wheel spacers, rims, and 12.5 wide tires caused some tire rubbing issues. Had a weekend trip planned so put some Icon Rebound rims and worn out Nittos on

Nice one mate... Welcome from Humble! Actually, I had called these guys, OffRoad Alliance to do my installation of my Eibach Stage 2 kit when I got it a few weeks ago.... Unfortunately, they were a bit behind in scheduling, but I've read nothing but good things about them. Seeing that I already had All Out Off Road in Tomball do my previous vehicle's Bilsteins, and they had an available appointment (can you tell I lack a little patience!), I went with All Out... (another great shop in the Houston Area btw).

Looking good. Where do you go wheeling around? Is it the place in Porter?

    Cheers,

    Sean

I have nothing but good things to say about Offroad Alliance. There backed up right now for the Toyota Jamboree but if you get a chance check them out. Tom runs it and is very knowledgeable on Toyota. Those pictures are outside of Austin. I dont know of any good local places unfortunately.

I originally purchased the Rago ditch light antenna bracket but after talking to the guy doing the ham radio installe we decided to mount the antenna off of the roof rack. ICS mount is installed just waiting for the antenna to be delivered. 20210504_143935.jpg
