I may be out of my mind, but I’m curious if anyone who has a Trail or Offroad, maybe even Pro? model with the black head unit would want to trade for the silver head unit of an SR5. Prices to replace the head unit are insane so if someone has the same though as me I figured we’d be the perfect match!

I’m in southeastern PA, I have ‘15 SR5 and everything with the head unit works fine, I just would’ve preferred black. The first picture below is what I have, the grey unit. The second picture is what you would have, and what I’d want to trade for, the black unit.

    What I have (silver):

    What I’m looking for (black):

I dont really wanna trade but I'd be down to sell my black one for a quite a bit cheaper than what they're going for new.

Ok, I’ve got some questions for ya then.

    Where are you located?
Is everything functioning with your unit?
What price would you ask for it?

I'm in casper, WY and yea when I took it off a year or so ago and it was working with no issues. Used ones or ones on ebay seem to be around 500 so how about 200 shipped??

Sorry it’s taken me a few days to get back to you. Let me think about it. Did you swap in a new head unit and that’s why you don’t need it? Also, I would assume you still would need the black pillars that are around the A/C controls right?

Yep just went to a new unit but yea I still need the trip around the ac but I imagine that wouldn't be too much to buy from toyota if you go this route.

Ok, my last question for you is this: are you offering the part in green, or the whole part in red?

Sorry been out of town, I'm offering the whole part in red minus the hazard button and vents (which you would obviously be able to use the ones you have right now)

No worries. I think I might be getting a good deal on an aftermarket head unit so I’m gonna hold off for now.

Thanks for the offer but I think I’ll be getting my hands on an aftermarket one myself.
