I cannot say enough about these guys especially because their shipping was completely reasonable. Custom interior: custom rear window power button and unlock button (found here in forums) Pedal Commander (this really does give your vehicle more get up and go) RAGO Mollie side trunk panels (Awesome but pricy) Victory center roof Mollie Panel (Ham radio mount) DIY rear sleeping platform (for camping)
HEARING SO much on the issue and i hear alot of people saying that they hear others talking about how spacers are not good. what I am trying to figure out is if i do go with spacers all im trying to do is level the 4runner to 6'8" not really higher than that so i can get into parking structures here in Hawaii. I am also trying to put larger and a little more aggressive wider tires on and don't know where to start. should i start at the tires as I already have the TRD rims. lots of help needed, but budget i am working with for everything tires and spacers $2000

If you don't care about ride quality and don't off road much (we don't have tons here to begin with) spacers are fine.

And lift isn't everything to clear bigger tiers.

Don’t go over 1” and it’s not an issue.

Reading threads on here on wheel fitment and how they affect your tire placement is a good start.

What are you doing to it already that has you at 6’8”?

Mine is that tall with a 3 inch lift and 285 tires and the old high profile TE rack.

My 2018 SR5 has the Readylift SST spacer kit and I off-road at least twice a month with no problems. Of course I don't drive like the Dukes of Hazzard.

He doesn't want to go over 6' 8" not there yet.

And thats actually still too high for a lot of our old ass parking structure's. A lot are 6' 6" and lower.

A spacer lift is cheap and offers you lift with stock components. You will not gain much however in increasing tire size as the range is quite small in these trucks without modifications (265-285) It can be wheeled without difficulty if done with research and thought.. A leveling kit with mild spacer lift may suit your needs. There is more variability of lift and rubbing on these vehicles than most know.

If you know what size tires you want to ultimately run you can build around that thought but do your research for sure. Best of luck.
