R Side Tail Light

I totally screwed up today. Carrying a heavy piece of metal and turned suddenly and the end of the metal hit the clear part of my tail light and cracked the lens in a star shaped pattern. It is on a 2020 SR5 4Runner passenger side. Do I need to replace the entire assembly? Where is the best/least expensive place to get the assembly if I need to? Just not watching and aware of my surroundings. Any useful suggestions would be appreciated.

Try a dealer
I had a similar thing happen to me involving a screwdriver and tail light too sept my dumb @$$ tripped and stabbed it
Went to dealer and talked to service manager he ordered a new one no charge

Just my luck, the part source suggested has discontinued this part. I had some clear film used to protect the paint on the car and cut a 3x4” piece and put it on the lens for now to keep it waterproof. Got the assembly on eBay for about 100 and I will check the local wrecking yards.

 

Just copy the part # and enter in google. There are all kinds of Toyota dealers that have the same part #.
