Just bought a clean 05 4wd with a rust free frame. Unfortunately, the skid plates have been removed. I’m hoping someone here who’ve upgraded theirs would sell their old factory skids.

I will have the front skid plate in September when I change it out...you can have it for free. Where are you located?

Thanks, that’ll be awesome if it works out. I’m in Gainesville Georgia, north of Atlanta.

Cool. If you will pay for shipping, it is yours. I will follow up when I make the swap.

Hey, still haven't gotten my new plate yet. Probably 2 more weeks. Sorry. Still yours though.

Got it. What is your address? I can give you an estimate on shipping and see if you want me to send it to you.

I appreciate the consideration, but I found a set locally. Paid way more than I wanted to, but I needed to get a set on there an bit the bullet. Thanks anyway, man.

Do you still have this original OEM skid plate? I'm interested!

Also reviving this old thread... I just installed a full RCI set so my stock engine air dam and oil pan skids are available if anyone desires

Edit: lied about there being a stock trans skid, my bad

@iamincrediboy Yep, that's why I posted. Looks like you've got a V8 and I don't think that will fit on my 04 V6 4runner. If it does, I'll take it but I don't think it will.

Still looking for GEN 4 V6 front skid plate.

I am new to the 4runner world still.
I did not know we had a transmission skid. I'd be interested in it if you still have it.
Cant find a pic anywhere of the OEM trans skid and where it goes. Can you post a pic?

Welp, after further review I am a liar. Absolutely conflated the two 'halves' of the engine skid as an engine and a trans - the more forward one being the air dam type, and the lower one being the one that is physically covering the oil pan.

Apologies to any who got their hopes up :anonymous:
