FITMENT: Tacoma stock shocks to 5th gen 4runner shocks?

Hello everyone, I need some expert advice.

I was wondering if a 2nd gen or 3rd gen Tacoma stock shocks would fit the 5th gen T4R?

if so then will it gain height?

how much?

so far I hear the bushings on Tacoma shocks are not going to fit but that's all I know for now

reason why I ask is that, I just wanted to see if I can gain lift with these options since there are abundance of stock Tacoma suspensions up for sale in our area.
