I need help with this issue and have seen several post about it but can't correct the issue.

I have a 2007 4runner sr5 previous 1 owner and I have had it for 6 years. The first 5 years had zero issues.

The battery had to be replaced last year 3 times since it was under warranty they just kept replacing the battery until the end of the warranty.

I went to another garage and explained and asked them to check the alternator. They did electrical testing, test all fuses and claimed it was a map light bulb. I went to start it and it wouldn't start.

I asked again to test the alternator and the found it was draining the battery and replaced both.

Two weeks later it won't start. I don't know what to tell them. I've seen this posted oon forums all over the net but I'm not finding the solution.
    I'd appreciate your advice.

    Thanks!

Trouble shooting electrical problems can be a bear. That said, there are tools available today that help a lot. Doesn't sound like it is something you want to tackle, so my suggestion is you spend some time researching local shops that are qualified to do the work. Local to me is within a 100 miles...especially if you reside in a small town.
