Hello fellow 4runner enthusiasts! I'm joining the forum to discuss my 1994 4runner engine to get it working and on the road. I know very little about engines, 4runners, or repairing cars but I hope to gain enough knowledge to work with a mechanic in my area to restore the EVZ-E engine for my daughter. She loves the car since it's in really nice condition and has only 132,000 original miles. The body looks great, interior is very clean, tires have great tread and non-engine mechanics are in very good working order. Even the upper engine has been restored so I aim to learn about the lower engine to diagnose and repair it to running condition. I look forward to working and learning with all of you to ensure the 4runner runs as well or better than the others in our fleet!

None. Bone Stock. EXCEPT: Brushguard, tow hitch, both welded to the frame. It's good to have friends and a fully equipped garage!
Welcome from S Central Oregon. Just up the road a piece, as we say.
I grew up in Woodside, very close to you.

What's wrong with the engine in yours? Maybe we can give you some advice. Maybe. Hope so!

    Have fun!
