I have a couple of Canon bodies and a few lens. I have been doing photography for 40+ years. Here are a few pics I especially like because they caught moments in time that I will likely never experience again.

This one is a once in a lifetime shot. It was pure luck that the shadow of the ball was on her shoulder and not her face. You can't quite see it in the photo, but she is actually raising up on her toes. And yet her eyes are clamped shut as she swings away. She missed the ball.

    Sarah-19990601-002.jpg

A rare moment that may never happen again. The elk was in velvet and resting following his morning forage. I was about 100 hundred yards out.

    YellowstoneNP-WY-20070608-203118.jpg

An unusual shot that works even thought everything is centered in the photo. This was taken as dawn was breaking and the buffalo were coming out to graze. I was setup at 7:00 am to capture this shot and was about 300 yards away. The photo would not be near as good without the stream and the reflection of the buffalo.

    YellowstoneNP-WY-20070609-102536.jpg

This shot was intriguing because snow was still encrusted on the buffalo's face. She was grazing with her new calf. I was about 50 yards away.

    YellowstoneNP-WY-20070607-222515.jpg

This coyote was patiently waiting for a grizzly bear to finish feeding on a deer. The bear was behind some downed logs and thus I couldn't get a picture of the bear. The coyote had been laying down on the log and stood up. He noticed me and looked right at me. When he was laying down, you almost couldn't make him out, as his coat blended with the old gray logs.

    YellowstoneNP-WY-20070610-115657.jpg

This is Iceberg Lake in Glacier National Park. You would unlikely ever get this picture now without there being a multitude of people in the photo.

This is another location in Glacier National Park. I don't recall the name now. I hiked out here at roughly 7:00 am to get this picture. Another spot that will be difficult to photograph with out hordes of people.

Photo taken by Erik Muendel owner of Brightline Interactive... We went to elementary school together.:) We were on my Wellcraft but he was pretty impressed when we stuffed my 12 foot John boat in the back of my 3rd Gen. maybe he will trade in the Infinity... Wait until I put my 17 foot canoe on top, again....,,,,

Garden visitor. If you have a garden and one of these sets up shop, you have a helper. Not harmful to you, just to bugs.

You'll likely see a well-protected egg sac nearby, about the size of a grape. Again, these are helpful, and timid. And cool-looking. Stifle your arachnophobia and let'em live.
