When I press the button to turn on the AC on the dash the light turns on and blows cold air for 15 seconds then turns off and no more cold air. I had the dealer charge it last time I had a service appointment but that did not solve the issue. It's starting to get hot outside and I need to fix this issue somehow but cannot find the reason its not staying on. Does anyone have an idea of what to do here?

Could be a bad pressure switch.

Well if the dealer charged it and it gets warm again could be a leak also.

good thought, I looked up the "symptoms" of that and them seem to be similar - I might try replacing the high and low switches

I haven't noticed any leak under the car after being parked for awhile, I guess I could check around the compressor

You're not going to see a refrigerant leak.....it's a gas. A dyed leak test is the only way to find those.

You can try the DIY recharge kit with stop leak. I don't have much faith it would fix the issue, but I'd try it if it were my ride. I've used the other DIY recharging kits with the pressure gauges before and had success (with past rides), but I didn't have a leak either. The gauges are super handy though to prevent over filling your system.

This will be my first troubleshoot, hopefully it is that simple and not a larger issue
