    Hey hey all,

It's been some great reading, and even though I've been around here for a while, I feel like I'm stepping into some really new territory with the lift. Got the Eibach Pro-Truck Stage 2 Lift, front coilovers, plus rear shock and springs delivered last week. I was going to use the factory UCA's, but in reading, the alignment may be off with regards to caster. I went ahead and ordered some OME U0004's. Would the OME's work well with the Eibach kit or would you recommend something different? Thanks all for the great information. I literally spent hours and hours reading everyone's advice in the Suspension threads. Looking forward to your replies.

    Cheers,

    Sean

A quick search seems like the OME UCA’s will yield +2.5 to +3.5 of caster and -1.5 of camber. That’s based off of a 2” lift so I’m not sure how much you’re lifting but if it’s at 2” or less I would imagine they’ll be fine. When I was searching I opted for SPC for the wider range of adjustability at 3” of lift and ball joint design (which OME has).

Thanks for the quick response mate... Yes, was looking at a lift of between 2.5" and 3" in total. Do you have to perform maintenance on the ball joints (grease them) at all, and how often do you recommend?

    Cheers,

I’m not sure about OME so you’ll want to verify on your own, but OME I think is an install and forget about it type thing. On their website it says the ball joint greasable but I don’t see a zerk fitting so I’m not sure how you accomplish that. The SPC I just use a grease gun and add a little bit of grease every time I do my oil change. It’ll push out any excess grease at the bottom of the boot so if I get to that point then I know I don’t need anymore. Takes a couple minutes.
