Which hidden winch kit did you go with?

 

Installed a TRD skid plate, Runnin 4 Tacos lower control arm skid plates, and Revtek rear mud flap delete panels.

 

Carpenter yes. Milwaukee has the edge on tools with the plumbing and mechanical trades.

The weird thing with those maps is they don't always show county roads. The trail we took yesterday is a combo of a county road and a Forest Service road. We do our best to stay legal as their are lots of illegal trails around, made / used by 4 wheelers.

 

Just finished a moderate high clearance cut. Left most of the splash guards in tact which I haven’t seen done (sure some have).

I hope when I get my alignment I won’t rub on the body mount and lower pinch welds anymore.

 

Ha! It's weird, but I see carpenters using Makita more than any other trade. They're excellent tools. I went with Milwaukee because of the hole-hawg.

 

Sitting over here deciding between dropping coin on suspension or rear bumper. Hmmmmm

 

Hidden Winch Mount Specialists. It has the optional recovery points. Pretty stout gear. Mounted a Warn Zeon 10s to it. Also cut a hole to access the clutch. Front end gained 80 lbs. once everything was finished. Pretty happy with the result.

I took my kids out to some BLM land I haven’t been to for years to explore a little. There’s now a fence that extends for a while preventing access to some of the areas I was wanting to get to. Decided to make the best of it since we drove the 35 miles to get there. Nothing really exciting, but since I rarely remember to take pictures I made it a point to try take some this time (My sincere apologies for the poor quality pictures of nothing exciting.)

 

Didn't do too much with or for the 4runner today, but, due to my local shop not being open on Saturdays anymore, and not entirely trusting a lot of the other places around here to do it. I have decided that I'm going to learn how, and, start doing my own oil changes for my vehicles. I've purchased a Fumoto valve for the 4Runner (with one for the Jeep and my F-150 later on) along with a drain pan in preparation.

I also got my Tyger steps set up and ready to return.

No pro, I looked at LFD too. Good stuff. Rago Fab makes a good mount too that comes with recovery points.

 

Would have loved to been installing my lift, but like others I’m patiently (as patiently as I can) waiting in the Eibach Pro lift.

Instead I installed a set of the plug and play PoerBass speakers (font 6x9s, reader door 6.5” and an MB Quart 6.5” in the hatch). Not a bad audio upgrade over stock for just a few hundred dollars.

 

Chances are you’re gonna need suspension for the rear bumper lol.

 

I can't say enough about the MF overland series design and clearance, it's a slight side exhaust so not getting any rear window smells. Not much of a gain with the weight I'm carrying that I can tell

 

I have the Milwaukee pvc shears

 

not if I go aluminum or I can just get stiffer springs.

Are you getting any drone on the highway? Exhaust isn't on my list, yet. But, I'm suddenly interested in this setup.

 

Drove to my first day volunteering with a local search and rescue team. got to drive off road a tiny bit which was nice. fun day doing K9 training.
