Hello - my name is Sergio and I am new to the forum and the world of 4 runners :).
I wanted to introduce myself to the community and thank you in advance for the support!
I have a new off-road w/kdss and just installed new TRD wheels with BFG ko 2's. Noticed that besides the tire rubbing when locking it all the way the suspension on the driver side started squeaking. Drove 4k with the stock set up and it was super quiet. Now it squeaks... could it be the suspension? Fender?
Also tried to have my wheel guy install a body armor bumper but he told me we couldn't do it on this car has he didn't have the tools to cut, what kind of shop can I go to to have a skid plate and fender installed?

None. Bone Stock. EXCEPT: Brushguard, tow hitch, both welded to the frame. It's good to have friends and a fully equipped garage!
    Welcome from Oregon!
That squeaking you hear might be the stops on the frame that the steering gear hits when you crank the wheels all the way over. They're supposed to have plastic caps on them, but they get brittle real fast, and then they fall off, and you get metal against metal, and when the suspension moves up/down, even a little bit, the metal-to-metal squeaks as it rubs.
You can replace the plastic caps cheaply and easily, OR, just dab a finger full of driveline grease on it, and just repeat as it wears off.

I would take it to a 4 Wheel specialist to get the bumper done. They do that kind of stuff all the time. Maybe a body shop, also. They can cut and weld too. Or a good welder/welding shop.

Good luck, and we look forward to hearing more from you :D

Welcome, Sergio! What size are those BFG’s? If a rather large size you probably want a lift if you want to run a larger size tire. That is likely what is rubbing at full lock.

    Feel free to ask
Need more details on this ‘body armor bumper’ you are trying to install. Is that the brand or just a description? Are you saying your wheel guy didn’t have the tools necessary to cut the OEM bumper or cutting needs to be done to the body armor bumper for proper fitment? If it’s the former, the OEM bumper can be cut with a Dremel tool and proper cutting wheel. You can install skid plates yourself with basic hand tools and torque wrench to torque to spec. No need to pay someone to do it. I’d even do it for you if you’re local to SoCal.
