Hello! I have a 2006 4Runner which looks like, I will be keeping for at least another couple of years. I have the base audio system which I am tired of. I am not new to car audio and used to have a badass system in one of my previous cars. I am not looking to spend that kind of money for this project, though. I have not kept up with the latest product offerings from companies like Alpine, JL and Pioneer. Seems like there is alot of overlap and I am a bit confused on what to look out for.

I am looking to spend around $1000 for the total setup. Parts can be brand new or used. Depending on features, I may stretch the budget, but it really depends.

    Requirements:

-Would like Google assistant (hands free)
    -Android Auto (hands free)
-Screen for GPS (bigger the better)
-Prefer component speakers for clarity. Are there ones with good bass output so I can avoid having a subwoofer? I'm used to Focals but these are out of budget for this. I like the sound of old school Polks as well.
-Decent amp is always nice to push the speakers.

Please offer up your best suggestion for budget setups, and if you have one that's a bit outside of this budget, feel free to suggest this as well! Thanks!!

ILX-W650 with the amp by alpine, great highs and lows. Also great sound for a minimal approach
