Seen today while waiting for an oil change. Is it just me or this is a ridiculous price for a lift, wheels, and tires?

Even if thats the top of the line Iron Man lift, best tires and nicest aftermarket wheels, they are charging probably $5,000 in labor.

I doubt it's the highest quality of any of those so it's a total rip off. Someone will buy it.

That's a pretty steep price to pay at the dealer. I don't know how good iron man setup but that is a price for a high end suspension and wheels.

Also even though it's done at dealership the warranty is void for suspension related (I discussed that with dealership when I was about to get ReadyLift kit for my SR5). For me since the warranty is void anyway I did it from a different 4x4 shop.

That's an good example of why dealerships are affectionately called 'stealerships.'

Crazy. I was looking up Highlander stuff recently, and found a dealer charging close to 10k for a package with a 2" lift and K02's on new Highlanders. Anyone who's spent even minimal time researching should know these markups are nuts, but I bet they sucker in a lot of impulse buyer types.

Hmmmm, maybe when I sell my 4R I'll have to throw a spacer lift on it first and get a few extra grand for it, lol.

Also, 10k extra and they couldn't even print out the invoice?? That's so shoddy. No details of the "bronze rim package" either.

I’ve seen this act before. It’s how they get their markup over MSRP, without announcing it’s a markup. You get something that’s really marked up, instead.

I was able to get the Readylift, TRD Pro wheels with 285-70-17 RG's and N-Fab nerf/steps on my new 18' SR5 for the sticker price.

I liked the look of the 285's. I must have been fortunate because the technician at the dealership nailed the alignment and tire balance the first time. Zero issues.

I did have the advantage of having four Toyota dealerships within a hours drive from home. This gave me some negotiating leverage.

Ironman's most expensive (full-priced) lift kit is $2750 with free shipping, and they have frequent sales. They just had a 25% off sale over St. Patrick's Day. I would imagine dealers could order in bulk and get even better deals. That mark-up is nuts.

I'm pretty conservative off-road so my setup works for me. The two boxes I wanted to check was a higher stance and 285 tires.

If I was planning on jumping over boulders, big logs or running the Baja 1000, then I would certainly consider a true suspension upgrade.
