I called a few places about the noise. One place said the because the cornFed spacers are the hard plastic, its probably rubbing and making noise. They said to spray some lube in there and it should go away.

I don't remember if it was labelled for use on plastic/rubber but I liked the WD-40 PTFE dry lube spray for metals.

Thanks. Just got mine today at the mail. I’ll try to do it this week. Would put a bit of grease in between when attaching the spacers to avoid noise.

I would put some grease on the top
Around the edges. I’m thinking it’s sqeaking where the plastic meets the metal body /frame as well

It’s awesome. I’m happy that I went with the 265’s but probably would have been happy with the 275’s as well. I just didn’t want the thicker/heavier tire. It sits perfect and even with a good load in the back no sag. The tires alone made it drive so much straighter, I was wandering so much and through “damn these 4 runners are hard to drive!” Although I still can’t park it within the lines! Not sure what it is, the angle I approach or that I’m not use to the larger vehicle or what!

I haven’t really put the suspension to the test but will be doing that this weekend. It’s super smooth with the 6112/5160 set up! And if I want to raise it, that’s simple to do!

    Good to hear.
I have 6112/5160 with Wheelers 1.5" rear coils in the garage. Hope to put it on this weekend. Have a set of 285 tires sitting out there to fit too.

Tips: Remember you only need to take off the 2 bolts under the lower ball joint and only loosen the front facing camber bolt (2 turns is all) and on the rear the stabilizer bar bolts. No need to take off any other bolts. This is for non KDSS anyways.

Mark your camber adjusters so you don’t get the alignment complete out of wack. I don’t think mine moved much honestly.

I used a harbor freight spring compressor and compressed the rear coil and lowered the axle. Jack up the back really high. 24”, 6 Ton harbor freight jack stands were barely enough. Maybe a 4x4 block under them to give a bit more heigh. You’ll probably need it with the 1.5” coils. The Toyota PDF install sheet worked great on the TRD.org forums

Considering going with the 6112's in the front.

Thinking the 1.2 setting should end up perfectly level if I keep stock rear height. Or do you think the .8 setting would be better?

I have no desire to lift the rear at all... already hard enough for my dogs to jump in ;).

probably .8, which might just be the stock height. I think the 1.2 setting would make the front rake up slightly.

I did 6112/5160 on my new Tundra at 1.9", thinking of this same setup for the wife's 4runner at the 1.6". Only thing is she wants bumpers front and rear so will need heavier # springs for the added weight. Man this 4runner suspension is a lot more complicated than the Tundra. Our plain is to acquire everything we want piece by piece (front bumper, rear bumper with spare mount, sliders, etc.) then figure out suspension so it will be a while. Pic of Tundra for fun :)

    PC Ride,
Thank you for providing this information. I'm looking to do almost the same set-up with my 2021 TRD O/R (Bilstein 61 front and 51 res-rear). My limiting factor is my garage door height. I need to be <75". Any chance you could check your stock rack height/Shark Fin? I'm looking at going 5/3 clip choice so 1.6" with TRD wheels and 265 KO2. The math tells me I'm going to be <74" but just wanted to double check.
    Thanks
    Troy
