I purchased my 4runner used and it came with aftermarket rims, I just noticed the tire change tool kit is missing so I got everything I needed but when I went to insert the socket it wouldn't go in, there were little plastic tabs blocking me from being able to push it in. How does this work? I see there are Allen keys around the center plastic hub so maybe those unlock, does anyone know?

You might have to remove the center cap to access the lug nuts.
