Hope they don’t drive it? The tags are deader than an eight point buck on opening day....

Sorry Toyota dealership, you lost my business. After waiting TWO weeks for a set of injectors, which by the way are the same for Tacoma and Camry, prob the most readily available. I took it to a reputable repair shop I’ve bought two sets of tires from and they did a perfect alignment....,
Why is it I google fuel OEM injectors and a dealership has them at a Toyota eighty miles away yet this dealership says two of the injectors are in Minnesota??
They still got me for a $157 dollar diagnosis I got done for free at Auto zone?
Anyway, this reputable repair shop is rolling it into the bay right now and ordering parts Monday...AND the dealership added too much oil on two occasions, in my Corolla? And the dealership bent 3 rims on the Corolla, I don’t know how they managed to do that. Tried to charge me $4k...lol I only hope they didn’t sabotage anything...

I see why the dealership took 2+weeks to have my injectors. Back order. But yet NTB will have them by tomorrow for $125 a piece.. I’m one happy fisherman!!!

I get almost all my parts from McGeorge Toyota online. Hefty discount. They have told me, on some things, when they can't get them in 1 or 2 days and why. Last one was an order for some rear hatch struts...none in the US and they had an order in from Japan TOYOTA. Got them in a month or so.

My local parts guy at the TOYOTA dealership will tell me availability too. I mean, they seem to know exactly what's in the warehouses around the US. Parts are always here in 2 days. I've dealt with NC TOYOTA and MA TOYOTA and they both were great at getting parts.

It's possible injectors are just in short supply. COVID shortages are really weird and still persist.

Well I told them OEM with the “dark grey” connector, with kind of a dull finish. Man I hope they are not remanufactured. I will find out where they got them from. New OEM $125 a piece, new aftermarket $20 a piece....

The only way I can reliably feel I'm not getting fakes is if they come in really good packaging. I was worried on the 4Runner fuel pump I ordered but it came with the correct packaging. I don't think the counterfeiters bother with the correct Denso box/bag/instruction pamphlet.

Beware anything that comes in "bulk" packaging.

B027581F-63B3-4923-9EDC-0C20E91501FB.jpg I’m pretty sure this is the replacements I’m getting...... I think they are made in Poland. OEM injectors were just too hard to find...And I’m saving $600 by using these...

Probably fine. As time goes on, the only things available are aftermarket items. That looks like a quality injector. Has a metal body.

Well after sitting at the dealership for 2 weeks. I decided to go to my local NTB and I’m very satisfied. They got right in it. But they tried to charge me twice for injectors, WTH. I called for the total dude was like $2,300. I said aw hell know. Then I double checked parts numbers and made sure injectors were new. Then noticed they charged me too much. They reevaluated and hit me up for for $1250. and I was very pleased.26201C75-9C0D-488D-B520-4820AEE22E4F.jpg

I reinstalled my plug on cylinder 3 I removed and replaced troubleshooting. And noticed they even installed new pig-tails on the injectors they were very brittle.41F46DF8-38F4-4FA6-B34F-5E5333D303FB.jpg

Why do these look like the ones on eBay I can get a whole set for a hundred bucks?
    O’well I rushed it.

None. Bone Stock. EXCEPT: Brushguard, tow hitch, both welded to the frame. It's good to have friends and a fully equipped garage!
If it were me, I'd've gone with OEM. Look how long the originals lasted!
    Just me, though.

I was without her for almost 3 weeks. I couldn’t take it. Now I know to get the parts first. Runs so good now I think they have been failing awhile. I never have used fuel treatments either.
