    2021 TRD Pro Lunar Rock
Hello Everyone. Today I finalized my decision to cancel my 2021 bronco order and put my deposit on the 2021 TRD Pro Lunar Rock. It’s scheduled for a March 15th build date and mid April delivery. Super excited... and glad to be a part of this community. I’ve also already purchased the new Westcott 2021 fox specific lift kit to be able to switch to 285s without body chop. I’ll go full lift/suspension changes once it’s time to replace the fox.

This is not only my first Toyota but also my first focus for off-road. Intent is simply to get my wife and kids out off the beaten path for more camping, fishing, and hiking.

Congrats! I would have loved to get a Pro, but the markup over MSRP in Socal just didn't pencil for me. I love my Venture though!

Thanks! Venture was next pick but since I was lucky to get the last Lunar Rock coming in for a dealer 4 miles away at MSRP with zero markup I was happy enough.

Wow! No markup is unheard of where I live. The lowest markup I saw was 5k over MSRP. Most were 7k-10k over!

I definitely would have bought the Pro for the price you got. And I love that color! Congrats again!

Hell yeah PA! Welcome to the cancelled-my-Bronco-bought-a-4runner club! And as far as getting the crew outside, this is the truck to do it.

Nope! Once I finally got right with the fact that I was never going to take the doors and roof off I came to my senses and realized that what I wanted was a 4runner the whole time. I've never been married to a vehicle or brand and always viewed it as all sort of utilitarian. Until I bought this thing. Now I get it.

I was in a bit of the same boat. This is my first Toyota, first off-roader, and I wanted one primarily to take my wife and kids out deeper into the woods to camp/hike/fish. I'd like to do some mud and trails too but really have no desire to full blown rock crawl at this point. The 4Runner just seemed to check off all the boxes and had added benefits of additional cargo space and towing capacity. I told my wife that in a few years they may revamp it altogether and if they do I may just want to go with the next gen version. I haven't even driven the Pro either. I only test drove a Off Road Premium with KDSS but honestly, anything is an upgrade from my 2012 Caravan.

Now I've got to find the good PA trails....

Hardly. Ford screwed the pooch with this rollout. More hype than PT Barnum. Tho, he did say...“There's no such thing as bad publicity.”
