    Like a boss!!!!!

This is why you DO NOT EVER let Jiffy Lube, Any fast lube, Wal-Mart Etc change your oil, EVER!. Our shop has done more Engine Swaps that I can count from this type of stupid carp from them rushing or just not knowing what the hell they are doing. I think my favorite one was the old Oldz Aurora V8 car. Example below.

The issue is that it was the rear one with this Engine in it.

Not to be mistaken for it's Indy cousin

So anyhow- Wal-Mart used the wrong oil in it and washed the lower end out. The good news- You can still get a new engine from GM, The bad news it is STUPID Expensive because everything is aluminum, The Block, the heads Etc because GM had to make the engine a production engine so they put that V8 in that turd above. The Crate Engine was something like 15k if my memory serves me correct. Lesson learned my friend. Unless you can fix there F up's and fast and know about it just don't go down that road. Find a good local shop that has been around for awhile and with good customer reviews and let them do it. So much cheaper in the long run.

Most the time it comes down to trying to save time.

Yea true, but someone that mechanically incline should know better than taking it to a jiffy lube
