Newbie here. First Toyota, first 4Runner. Traded from a ‘17 Frontier. Good little truck fit me perfectly for most of 4 years and 93k miles, but with our first kiddo this past year and surely another in the next few years, figured to trade out while it still had decent value. We skipped out on 4Runners previously for the wife due to cost and mileage (she’s always had a decently efficient vehicle and sometimes lengthy commutes) but it checked all the blocks for me on this search in value, size (more interior space without being a bigger vehicle), and 4WD.

‘21 SR5 base w/ the blackout package, had dealer add aftermarket seat warmers, already added remote start, blacked out the grill, RAV4 mirrors, window visors, silver roof rack base covers, Clazzio leather seat covers on the way and it’ll be about perfect for years to come for my purposes.

Interior LED bulbs this evening. And man, those map lights are tricky. Finally defeated them with a horseshoe of duct tape to tug them out, after so many other various ideas!

    Welcome to the forum!

Yes, they are! I can't recall exactly how I get them out, but I recall it being a struggle.

As I recall a couple were stubborn to get out, and a couple were pretty easy. Map lights came out with the "tape method".
