What have you done to your 5th Gen 4Runner today?

Put these on Last week. Makes it a lot easier to get in and out for the kiddo's.

 

Bought these vinyl decals awhile back ago and finally put them on. Tomorrow I'm going to black out the front/front bumper. I figured it would give it little bit of a different look.....

One suggestion: the one positive battery terminal is very close to the fender wall (chassis). You should rig up a plastic insulating cap for it.

 

We better see pictures of water overtaking that hood ASAP! I want to see that snorkel being used to its full potential

 

Changed front/rear diff and transfer case fluid.

 

Looking for some guidance. I noticed the front springs on my 2021 (non kdss) have different color markings. For example, one spring has a white paint mark with another red/orange color and the other front spring has a white paint mark with another greenish color. Does this mean they are different spring rates? If so, why? Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

$122 Smittybilt 2780 SmittyBilt AIR COMPRESSOR 2.54CFM - SB2780

Smittybilt 2780 with pressure switch upgrade, mounted on a C4 battery tray. Replaced Smittybilt hoses and fittings with standard type. Nice & easy little project- already had the 2780- might swap it out with the 2781 at some point to double the output.

 

Just removed my 20 inch led light bar off my Pro. Wheels and tires and light bar already sold as long as the guy don’t back out. Getting it ready to be traded in on a 2021 Tundra Pro. It will be at least 2 months or so.

 

Drivers spring is 9 wrap passenger is 8 wrap. This is done to try and compensate for everything heavy on the drivers side of the truck. Gas tank, battery, steering column, driver, etc. it sorta worked but every 4Runner still sits lower in the drivers side than on the passenger side.

 

Went out and got some mud on my tires

Installed my SSO Slimline, Warn 10S and Heise light bar. Winch has power and works as advertised. Need to run wire and switch for the light bar still. Just didn’t have enough time today with rain off and on. Still want to paint the bolts black on top of bumper, adjust the license plate (it’s bent) and make some minor adjustments as I don’t think the bumper is level. Also ordered lamin-x film for the light bar so it matches the fogs and ditch lights.
