Extendable shocks

i have lifted my 4runner 3" and put on 285/75/16 tires and ive taken it out mudding and through some snow with no issues.. but im wanting to put on some extendable shocks and im wondering what are the best to use and what will fit the best during installation. it still has the factory ones on it now and I have 215,xxx miles on my 4runner and they need to be replaced..

 

I Just put on Eibach(extra weight) springs with 5100s to replace my old worn out 3'' setup. Gained 1'' out of it. Loving it so far. Ive got a heavy bumper and winch. Check out

 

the lift I installed on it was a rough country 3" lift. and it came with rear schocks and rear springs but and it came with a 3" spacer that fits on top of the front struts.. but I want a little bit for flex..

 

Yeah you got the wrong springs then. My coils are extended so they dont include spacers. Check out that site and youll be done.

I'm installing Bilstein 5100 adjustables (set at the 3rd ring- 2" Lift) in front with MOOG Springs (p/n 81090- 1" taller than stock) to replace the worn out Factory struts & Toy Tec 3" Spacer up front. This should maintain my 3" Lift up front...I'm also replacing the rear factory shocks with Bilstein's and keeping the Toy Tec Springs that gave me 3" Lift in the back...2005 SR5 V6 Auto 4WD 170K miles.

 

So you are probably currently running some type of spacer lift. Are you just wanting to upgrade/replace your stock shocks, or are you wanting to also change up the lift components to a better setup?
