    Hello everyone,
I have a 2021 4Runner and am getting ready to start modifications. The first is a leveling kit, but heard that it could mess with some of the electronic features. Is this true? I want to run bigger tires and take the forward slope out of it.
Any guidance would be grateful, thanks in advance.

Welcome from Wisconsin! We have a 2020, also a 3"/2" leveling/lift, so far all has been good as far as the electronics go, our lift/leveling kit was put on at the dealership and they never told or charged me for a re-calibration of radar or camera. They might have done it and included it in the install of the lift/leveling kit. I have heard on this forum about some problems with the electronics, try a search in the upper right hand corner and see what's up with that. Good luck, enjoy the forum.

Welcome from N Austin!! I don't believe there is anything that would trip electronics on a leveling kit. I just installed the TRD Pro suspension with Westcott Design level and have no issues with my radar.

Honestly, maybe the 21 release added new features I have yet to concern myself with. As a whole though, the whole system I find to be incredibly unintuitive, especially during rain or snow when the sensor gets covered and doesn't work.

    Cheers!
